On January 15-17th, the SessRin community celebrated the one year anniversary of the confirmation of Sesshomaru and Rin’s union, when Episode 15 of Hanyo No Yashahime aired and Rin was introduced as Towa and Setsuna’s mother, along with being mentioned as Sesshomaru’s wife.

#SessRinWedding 💒
The theme of the #SessRinversary weekend was a #SessRinWedding. Artists drew wedding-related content, authors wrote wedding-themed short stories, and SessRin Is Canon hosted a few wedding games.
The weekend event generated a total of 27,500 engagements, between the retweets, likes and content shared. What a great turnout for Sesshomaru and Rin’s wedding!

Four Seasons With You is a storybook-style zine that tells the beautiful tale of Sesshomaru and Rin’s friendship, which ultimately grew into a loving relationship throughout Rin’s life. The zine comes in two languages (English and Spanish).

#FirstYearCanon Awards 🏆
In honor of Sesshomaru and Rin’s official confirmation, on January 16th, SessRin Is Canon wanted to celebrate the content creators of the fandom, by allowing fellow fans to nominate, and vote for works they believed should win an award.
The #FirstYearCanon Awards Show was hosted by Mrs. Dowdy, the host of SessRin’s Podcast and creator of SessRin’s Fan Club. Throughout the night, she announced the winners and runner-ups in 9 categories.
